Hagglund Training

This week Ian is in Dalwhinnie, doing NPORS Hagglund training for Balfour Beatty Utilities.

Hagglunds were originally designed for military use as personnel and equipment carriers. These tracked vehicles achieve very low ground pressure through full-length rubber tracks and a light body weight. They consist of two units, with all four tracks powered. The two driven units are articulated, which allows it to keep contact with the ground over broken terrain.
